Gwella were appointed to carry Licensed Asbestos Removal works at RM Bickleigh Barracks.
RM Bickleigh is a military installation at Bickleigh, South Hams which is currently the home of 42 Commando.
The base is strategically valuable for training because it’s close to Dartmoor, which provides ideal areas and ranges for military exercises.
Additionally, its proximity to Plymouth allows for easy access to maritime training opportunities.
The works included removal/encapsulation of Asbestos Insulating Board soffits under fully controlled conditions.
The site team showcased their skills, erecting a fabulous setup to the delight of our client.
