We have recently completed a specialist cleaning project of a training centre within a Grade II listed building in Tavistock.
Our client asked for Gwella Contracting to carry-out the cleaning as they were installing a new fire detection system in the roof space of the building. However, the roof was heavily contaminated with pigeon guano and would have made it difficult for the fire system contractors to carry-out their installation effectively.
In order to reach the contaminated area, we first built a crash deck scaffold, as the initial working height was in excess of 8 metres. We then created a full scaffold structure in order to clean the relevant areas around the building.
As usual, we delivered the project on budget and within the two week time frame.
