Gwella have recently completed a non-licensed asbestos removal and intricate reinstatement project on behalf of highly recommended Defence Support Organisation, Landmarc Solutions, whose head office is in Salisbury. There were three separate working areas within the overall project, all located within the main farm compound of MOD owned, Blerrick Farm.
Working safely from MEMPs and Scissor lifts around the working farm, communication from all stakeholders was vital from day one in order for the overall works being accomplished on time.
Works included the safe removal of asbestos roof sheets, replaced guttering, improved agricultural Eternit corrugated cement sheets, barge boards and a pre-made new wooden canopy structure.
Great feedback from the client and farm tenant was received and, as a business, Gwella looks forward to supporting Landmarc with their next task in hand.
