Many of us have been shocked and saddened by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The news and pictures we’re all seeing across our TVs and social media are difficult to process, and something that we hoped never to see in our lifetimes.
It’s difficult to know what to do, but when we see mothers and children fleeing their cities, leaving the fathers behind to fight, we felt that we couldn’t simply sit back and watch.
Therefore, Gwella has made a contribution to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal organised by the Disasters Emergency Committee.
